After we pass title to you, the County Collector's Office will send you an annual tax bill, usually around the end of the year.

We think you'll agree that local real estate taxes are about as low as you can hope to find anywhere in America, (but don't expect them to always make sense). While we can't give you specifics for each parcel here are the 2009 taxes on some typical properties:

• 9.2 acres at Christina's Cove in Marion County, $155.56

• 5.53 acres at Chalk Ridge in Camden County, $43.11

• 3.3 acres in at Lorelei Trails in Texas County, $17.01

• 4.53 acres at Zach's Mountain in Ozark County, $257.29
